Jr. ETL Developer
Job description
BigBear.ai is seeking a Jr. ETL Developer to join our data engineering team and help us deliver high-quality data solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes using PostgreSQL and other tools.
What you will do:
- Provide hands-on technical and functional support with PostgreSQL, including design and development of complex SQL logic
- Support a business intelligence and analytics team with requirements and functional & technical testing
- Improve data efficiency, quality, and reliability by implementing best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and performance problems
- Collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solution
What you need to have:
Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 2 years of experience; 6 to 8 years with no degree
- Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum one year of experience working with SQL or related database technology
- Proficiency in at least one ETL tool, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture
- Experience with data pipeline development and ETL testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
