The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for the overall management and implementation of internal quality and serve as the central point of contact for quality matters.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the activity of the quality assurance deliverables.
- Develop, implement and maintain a system of quality and reliability testing.
- Provides development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the
implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of the
contract. - Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software
development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and
recommends methods to optimize the organization's process. - May be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and
compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. - Conducts Quality Assurance audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
- Develops and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a
system development environment which supports large databases and applications.
Qualifications
- The Quality Control Manager shall have a minimum of five (5) years' experience as a QCM to include a minimum of two (2) years QCM experience in facility operations, maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated experience with methods and processes used to monitor the production of a product or service in order to maintain a desired level of quality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality management system standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standard published by the ISO.
- Demonstrated experience with methods and processes used to ensure that materials, components, or products meet expected standards or compliance requirements.
- The QCM shall be responsible for the overall management and implementation of internal quality and serve as the central point of contact for quality matters.
- Must have a current TS/SCI clearance.
