CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) engineer for the Space and Intelligence System LOB, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of FPGAs for advanced communication systems.

Combined Salary Range
USD $122,690.40 - USD $136,109.60 /Yr.

- Definition, design, verification, and documentation for FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) developments
- Experience with Zynq processors using Petalinux, Yocto, or Buildroot
- Experience using Git for version control
- Experience with CI/CD flows for FPGA
- Experience interfacing to external memory interfaces like: DRAM / SRAM
- Experience using Multi-Gigabit Transceivers (MGTs): GTX/GTH/GTY/GTZ/etc
- Familiarity with bus protocols such as 1G/10G/40G/100+G Ethernet, Interlaken, Aurora/SerialLite II, RS-232, SPI, I2C, and CAN
- Understanding of static timing analysis, timing closure and floor planning techniques
- Implementation of telecommunication protocols and sophisticated processing algorithms
- Embedded micro-processing systems, FPGA Design and Verification using VHDL, and digital circuit analysis and design
- Implementation of HDL for systems-on-a-chip for FPGAs with or without microcontrollers
- Languages: VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, TCL, C, C++, Java, Python or similar
- Team player with strong communication skills, ability to lead verification of FPGA/ASICSs, and capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
- Proficient with embedded micro-processing systems, FPGA Design and Verification using VHDL, and digital circuit analysis and design
- Motivated to stay ahead of technology trends and drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
