JOB DESCRIPTION

The Safety Coordinator will assist the Director of Safety & HR with planning, implementing, and coordinating safety programs and ensuring field compliance with our corporate safety program.

Responsibiliti es:

Assist in the administration of project safety and main tain a safe work environment.

Act as safety resource to project management team.

Assist p roject management teams in loss control activities.

Assist project management teams with pre-project, pre-phase and pre-task planning.

Assist project management team in developing site-specific safety program.

Review safety submittals.

Develop and revise JHA s

Review and monitor subcontractor activities.

Conduct the project s loss control data/documentation collection.

Promote employee participation.

Formulate and condu ct training sessions/demonstrations /toolbox talks .

Exhibit operational knowledge of construction OSHA and other pertinent safety standards.

Ensure uniform interpretation of site safety procedures.

Documents and tracks through correction all safety violations, unsafe conditions, etc.

Other duties as assigned
