Storm4 is currently working with a fast-scaling Independent Power Producer that are developing Renewable Projects across the US. They build projects that create long-term value for local communities, landowners, stakeholders, and the environment.

They are looking for a Director / Sr. Manager of Project Development to oversee, coordinate and manage the entire Electrical & Civil Engineering teams across the development of their large scale Solar projects from origination through development to NTP.

Responsibilities:

• Manage & Co-ordinate all in-house electrical engineering, contractors & staff teams across the development of multiple new solar sites from concept to testing all the way through to production
• Oversees all progress and timeliness of projects in pipeline, ensuring they meet all goals and objectives
• Manages efforts to problem solve for engineering challenges and coordinates with project consultants and site managers
• Collaborate with business analysts, M&A, risk management, and finance teams to determine market potential for new projects
• Reviews project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
• Works with project stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and maintain the project engineering requirements and specifications

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years experience as an engineer (preferably in Utility-scale renewable energy space)
• Strong technical understanding of drawings and specifications and able to add value to troubleshooting/problem solving communication with contractors & superintendents
• Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product and project development
• Experience with design/build construction
• Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial impacts of engineering requirements and challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
