Alliance is seeking a Costpoint ERP Business Systems Consultant who will report directly to the Senior Director of Financial Systems. The position is responsible for providing our customers with implementation, functional and operational system support for the Accounting and Finance/Time/Labor disciplines of Costpoint. The individual will coordinate with our client s finance and IT disciplines to ensure delivery of process and systems solutions in line with our customers expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide consulting services and training for key areas of Costpoint
  • Support the Financial Systems Sr. Director in maturing Alliance s implementation and support methodologies
  • Provide support to our customers in conjunction with their utilization of the Costpoint application


Education, Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems, is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • The candidate should possess a minimum 5 to 10 years overall experience in Deltek Costpoint in both the functional and technical areas with specific emphasis in the following:
  • Background in Government Contracting and demonstrates knowledge of CAS and FAR
  • Expert skills in MS Office (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use SQL and Cognos report writing for data analysis purposes
  • Ability to drive change
  • Ability to communicate confidently and build meaningful internal and external relationships,
  • Experience presenting to Finance Leadership Teams
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams, including working with Finance, IT, and PMO teams
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering effective solutions and systems enhancements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
