Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Tech II in Ashburn VA 20147.

As a Data Center Tech II, you will:

• Responsible for installing servicing and maintaining IT Infrastructure in a 24/7 environment with rapidly shifting priorities while maintaining high availability of the infrastructure. Strong attention to detail and effective documentation skills are critical components of success in this position.
• Will be supporting Deployments, will be assisting with cable management, rack pulls, and both IDF and MDF decoms.
• Will also support Client s MAPs configurations and regular daily updates.

Key qualifications

• Experience supporting IT equipment or related IT experience
• Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure components
• Familiarity with rack elevation and cable plans
• Experience diagnosing, test, and repair failed servers
• Experience wiping hard drives

Education

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of related experience
• Associates degree in computer science
• Technical certifications ITF+, A+, Server+, BICSI Installer I or related experience
• Additional requirements
• Ability to work extended hours (with accurate hydrations) within a Data Center environment typically within the heat range of 79 degrees Fahrenheit to upwards of 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Use of appropriate PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and facial covering in various environments with ranging temperatures as listed above

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Location: Ashburn VA 20147.

Duration: 3 - 6 months (can extended to 10 months)

Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay Range: $25-$26 Per hour
