ABOUT THE TEAM
The Knowledge Management Program Director provides operational and thought leadership for SEEC s Workforce Training and Learning initiatives, our Maryland Direct Support Training Consortium, and the Knowledge Management department s training performance outcomes, both within the department as well as throughout the agency. The KM Program Director will work in partnership with the KM team and will maintain close collaboration with other Program Directors and members of SEEC s leadership team. This position will be expected to maintain operational standards in accordance with agency and regulatory policies and manage the financial stewardship of program areas in alignment with agency s financial standards.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
1. Provide programmatic and logistical oversight to Knowledge Management s Workforce Training program:
2. Regularly evaluate Knowledge Management s workforce trainings, including training design, materials, and delivery (across both virtual and in-person formats). Provide guidance and support to improving our training and delivery. This includes regular research into adult education best practices and innovative service delivery to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
3. May support the coordination of SEEC s Quarterly Management Meeting learning community, working in tandem with other members of the KM leadership team and agency representatives
4. Facilitate the Decision Makers learning community of practice
5. Design and facilitate KM s Trainers Community of Practice
ABOUT YOU
1. Candidate must have a bachelor s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university (Master s degree or equivalent preferred).
2. Proven understanding of adult learning principles and record of designing, implementing, and evaluating workforce training/professional development.
3. Fundamental understanding of coaching and mentoring direct reports as opposed to top-down supervision.
4. Experience designing, implementing, and tracking Key Performance Indicators as well as programmatic outcome measures (tools, processes, tracking, reporting)
5. A minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience.
6. Experience managing budgets and sustaining quality assurance systems is critical.
