Senior Director of Human Resources/ Vice President

Job description

Our pharmaceutical client, is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Director or Vice President of HR to lead and evaluate their HR function. As a key member of the leadership team, you will help shape and execute HR strategies helping all levels of the organization achieve their personal and professional potential.


Responsibilities:

  • Be immersed in the business, understanding how the organization works to ensure HR added value.
  • Be an employee advocate, ensuring all employees are equally represented and have an avenue to voice concerns and come to a reasonable conclusion.
  • Be creative in managing headcount to ensure departmental needs are addressed while controlling cost.
  • Develop a robust recruitment process focused on quality and time to fill metrics.
  • Be a conduit for employee communications and fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Establish and communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of current state and federal labor laws and requirements.
  • Represent the company in labor related issues, collaborating with legal resources as needed.
  • Coordinate with the training manager "best practice" management training, offering supervisors training plans and or supervisor training sessions.
  • Oversee the Exit Interview process, sharing results and trends with the Leadership Team on a quarterly basis.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor s degree in human resources, or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.


*this is an onsite position 5 days a week
