Join our team as a forklift operator with our partners located in Ridgely, MD for the entire season! Hiring for 1st and 2nd shift with immediate starts.Be able to work on each production area of the plant. The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading/unloading trucks, putting away product into the refrigerated storage areas, weigh and record product. Looking for candidates with recent forklift experience.Responsibilities:Must be able to understand English.Operate sit down ForkliftsMaintain all Forklift safety procedures and speed limits.Perform duties such as loading and unloading, weighing and recording product.Report any product questionable in quality to the Lead Person / Quality Control and/or Supervisor immediatelyKeep floors at the lines clean at all times.Work flexible days/ times.Requires moderate to heavy physical exertion, up to fifty (50) pounds.Keep all areas clean and orderly at all times.Adhere to common safety practices and rules; including wearing protective equipment and clothing as required.Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety requirements to ensure high product integrity.Performs other related duties, as directed by Lead Person, Supervisor or Plant Management.
