Overview

LMI seeks a Project Scheduler to support a CBP PMO in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Provide expertise to support the development and maintenance of schedules for complex acquisition programs.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path analysis.
  • Develop executive level schedule metrics and management reports.
  • Develop and conduct training of scheduling standards/best practices and processes/procedures.
  • Evaluate schedules provided by contractors, other agencies, and internal entities.
  • Attend program/project meetings to discuss and review schedules.
  • Possess expertise to support Earned Value Management.
  • Provide information and reporting, including trend analysis, EVM analysis, resource forecasts, resource modeling, and project performance.
Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or information management
  • 3-10+ years of experience in scheduling.
  • Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

DESIRED:

  • Master's degree
  • Previous DHS experience.
  • PMI Project Management Professional Certified
  • Agile Certified
