Responsibilities

The Network Infrastructure Manager role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available. Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Core enterprise IT infrastructure is comprised of an extensive array of network equipment, servers (virtual and physical), appliances, tools, and service.
  • Operate and maintain IT Infrastructure, including the tasks necessary to ensure environment is stringently managed, to minimize risks and ensure compliance with Federal laws, standards, and policies (i.e., all infrastructure devices are configured in accordance with enterprise security guidance including access control, port, and protocol settings).
  • Manage unclassified network infrastructure with a goal of identifying problems before end users do and respond to Service Desk escalations to resolve incidents on a 24x7x365 basis, per defined SLAs.
  • Monitor open tickets reassigned to other teams to ensure resolution within the specified timeframe.
  • Perform continuous monitoring, event detection and escalation, risk mitigation, and incident avoidance to ensure the security and stability of the entire infrastructure.
  • Analyze core infrastructure, processes, and procedures for continuous improvement opportunities and provide service integration testing recommendations based on analysis.
  • Support user and device authentication, identification, and authorization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 14 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of related technical work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum on an active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Agile, ITIL, Service Now or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience Network or Infrastructure Manager with background in Disaster Recovery / Continuity of Operations (COOP).
  • Experience in problem management, capacity and performance management, escalation support, root cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting the transition of IPv6 network protocol.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and networking technologies (WAN, MAN, LAN).
  • Experience delivering VOIP, VTC, Web Conferencing services.
  • Experience managing large teams and working with government senior level and/or executive level leadership.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
