Do Operate a pilot manufacturing line to develop new products and manufacturing technologies for the growing Owens Corning Roofing Components business. This role will be based at the Components R&D Center in Granville, OH which includes a Product Testing Laboratory that conducts performance testing and a Pilot Line that runs prototyping trials. This supports the manufacturing and new product development activities for the Roofing Underlayments and Protective Packaging business segments. The work includes maintaining and operating the pilot manufacturing line, designing and adding new equipment capabilities, leading capital projects, and leading trials including trial design, data collection and analysis. This position works closely with the product development, test lab, quality teams and internal customers. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** : * Associates degree in Engineering or Science field

* Technical knowledge and experience with manufacturing and/or pilot processes

* Must have strong hands-on mechanical skills including ability to operate, maintain, and repair process equipment

* Must be proficient in using a computer including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

* Ability to repetitively lift objects up to 40 lbs and stand for a large portion of the day

**PREFERRED** **EXPERIENCE** : * 1 year experience in manufacturing and/or R&D pilot facility

* Experience operating plastic extrusion equipment

* Experience designing and adding process capabilities including capital projects

* Experience designing and leading trials including data collection and analysis to drive data-based decisions

* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time is preferred
