Compu Dynamics sits in the heart of one of the fastest growing data center markets in the country and is a recognized leader in that business. We are excited to be growing and have an immediate need for a IT Support Specialist in Northern Virginia.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Acts as liaison with outsourced IT provider.
2. Analyzes IT specifications to assess security risks.
3. Designs and implements safety measures and data recovery plans.
4. Keeps up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
5. Performs penetration tests to find any flaws.
6. Collaborates with management and the IT provider to improve security.
7. Documents any security breaches and assesses their damage.
8. Responsible for training all employees as it relates to IT education.
9. Runs and maintains reports and informs leadership as needed.
10. Manages Microsoft 365 applications with staff including but not limited to management of SharePoint services, Power Automate, and other applications.
11. Manages software licenses for various applications.
12. Manages company physical badging system & CCTV system
13. Manages company phone lines & phone acquisition with vendor
14. Manages hardware for company including machines, peripherals, and other equipment that needs to be updated on a regular basis.
15. Serves as a central point of contact within the company for IT projects and issues with systems. Delegates actions to third party vendor as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience and education
2. 3+ years of IT experience
3. Microsoft 365 Fundamental Certification

Preferred Experience:

1. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker
2. Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
