**What:** We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly) in their homes. Help us help the most vulnerable among us stay safe, cared for and connected during this pandemic.

**When:** We are looking for caregivers available to help clients for a few hours each day. Shifts can vary between 2-hours and 6-hours, depending on the needs of each individual client.

**Where:** Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake Counties

**Pay:** Standard hourly shifts start at $12.00 per hour (for shifts 4+ hrs long), $13.00 per hour (for shifts 3 hrs long), $14.50 per hour (for shifts 2 hrs long)

**Qualifications**

* 18 years or age or older

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Pass a criminal background check

* TB test

* Covid-19 vaccination or willing to get the Covid-19 vaccine. (New federal mandates require employers of 100 employees or more to require employees to be vaccinated, starting in January 2022)

* Willing to drive to client's homes up to 30 minutes away

* Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting

* Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

* Good interpersonal skills

* Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred, not required). We'll train if you're willing to learn!

* Ability and willingness to complete online continuing education training classes

* Willingness to follow and enforce health and safety standards

* Reliability: Professionalism and discipline to arrive to clients' homes, on time, every time

* Ability to cook standard American meals

**Responsibilities**

* Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing

* Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist them with monitoring vitals

* Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks, etc.)

* Plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding

* Run errands for the client or accompany them to successfully do so

* Keep the clients engaged in favorite activities and conversation

* Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

* Light housekeeping
