Job description

Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a junior Level Intelligence Analyst for our clients operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Virginia area. Responsible for using advanced tools, datasets, and methodologies to analyze all-source information, generate operational leads, drive successful operations, disrupt threats, and advance mission priorities. Also responsible for applying investigative, pragmatic, and mission driven aptitude in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to identify individuals, emerging threats, and collection opportunities to transform intelligence and advance U.S. national security interests in support of the customers mission.



Qualifications:
  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • 3 Years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution in a relevant field. Five (5) years of professional experience in a relevant field may be substituted for a bachelors degree not in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Analyst evaluating information for targeting and reporting purposes
  • Basic understanding of customer culture, practices and processes.? This includes the relationship between offices and groups, CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Have strong critical thinking skills; advanced research skills; excellent analytic and investigative curiosities.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate into a multi-discipline team and take a team-based approach to solving complex problems.
  • Ability to multi-task to manage time and priorities in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with people at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank.
  • Ability to shift focus quickly, work on multiple tasks concurrently, and excel in high-pressure/high impact situations.
  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Community, their partners, and supporting/driving intelligence operational activities
  • Experience and understanding of research and analysis methodologies in support of the intelligence.
  • Experience of customers report writing standards and through various reporting methods

Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
