Data exposes inefficiencies and disadvantages. It reveals truths about our patterns of life and the patterns of our adversaries. Mature use of data also presents new opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures. The Data Governance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data assets.

Develop and implement data governance policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with data regulations and standardsPromote data quality and integrityManage data governance riskCollaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data governance issuesConduct data governance audits and assessmentsProvide training and education on data governance to employeesStay up-to-date on the latest data governance trends and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or a related fieldStrong understanding of data governance principles and best practicesExperience in developing and implementing data governance policies and proceduresExperience in conducting data governance audits and assessmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

Experience in working with big data technologiesExperience in working with data visualization toolsKnowledge of zero trust data architectures

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related discipline

Security Clearance:

No Security Clearance required, but Secret or higher preferred.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
