Marathon Staffing is seeking candidates for contract, 1st Shift, Maintenance Electrician positions available immediately in Baltimore, OH!This position is Direct HireMaintenance Electrical position within a manufacturing environment. Under general supervision, maintains, troubleshoots and services electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls. Support all production and physical plant equipment in the facility.Responsibilities1. Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to the supervisor.2. Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation s requirements, company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown.3. Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes and principles of operation of electrical equipment.4. Plan work procedures and determines replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.5. Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems.6. Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts7. Lays-out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and to include panels, breakers, and conduit.8. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments9. Troubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.10. Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems.11. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.12. Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.13. Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.14. Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including but not limited to, use of all PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working.15. Performs other duties as assigned.Education:High School Diploma or GED required. Technical or professional certification strongly preferred and/or completion of an appropriate apprenticeship program.Experience:3+ years experience and/or equivalent electrician training in industrial high voltage electrical maintenance.Requirements include, but may not be limited to:Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidaysConsistent attendance and reliable transportation a MUSTAbility to perform physical work including continuous standing, bending, stooping, etc.Ability to pass a background checkSchedule is 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.Pay rate is $35.00 per hour.
