Job Purpose
Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance activities around the manufacturing facility. Analyze organizational needs, pinpointing primary objectives, or challenges, and recommending solutions to ensure timely completion of work. Assist with the implementation of SAP PM and becoming a subject matter expert in the system. Develop maintenance SOPs, lock out plans, and job safety analyses. Plan, write and issue permits-to-work for contractor and maintenance activity.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and issue weekly preventative maintenance work orders to the maintenance team
Schedule preventative maintenance activities to be performed by maintenance/contractors
Generate and issue work orders daily and assign to technicians
Responsible for reporting weekly and monthly KPIs
Directly responsible for site calibration program
Responsible for maintaining records in compliance with PSM
Assist in implementation of SAP PM and activities around data migration and training
Participate in business workshops and share configuration and integration expertise
Responsible for tracking and maintaining spare parts inventory (temporarily)
Assist in the ordering of parts and materials needed for job completion
Provide functional locations and update SAP with assigned PMs for new equipment
Revise and update existing PMs as needed based on recognized demand
Participates in daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance review meetings
Adhere to all rules for safety and health and to the site's environmental policies, rules and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Writing of Permit to Work for contractors performing onsite work.
Scheduling of contractors and the organization of scheduling them in a timely manner based off business criticality
Assist in writing Permit to Work for technicians as needed
Creation of SOP's and implementation of them
Create weekend work lists for each Technician to make sure their time is value-added.
Continuously improve PM effectiveness through optimizing work, detail, frequency and parts required.
Can read blueprints/schematics, P&Id's
Job Requirements
Associate's degree (AA) from 2-year College or technical school in Engineering, Business Management or related field preferred
Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance ofwork including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft
Office SuiteIn depth knowledge of production unit operations, process, equipment, & technology
Sufficiently trained to measure the value of specific activities to the business
Ability to provide people with verbal & written information needed to perform their assigned job correctly
Ability to make relevant information known in a responsive & effective way
Ability to reach a conclusion using relevant information & data & to determine the best course of action in a timeframe consistent with business requirements
Maintain an awareness of the relevance and importance of the above listed responsibilities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives and
customer satisfaction.
Rewards & Benefits
Base salary range for this role is: $63,000 to $68,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
