General Summary:

The Process Improvement Specialist plays a key role in the hospital's Performance Improvement Plan by providing leadership, expertise and support in process improvement. Working under the direction of Senior Management and the Director of Performance Improvement, the specialist directs and supports the work of multi-functional teams to improve organizational performance and promote efficient use of resources through:

* Effective design, measurement and analysis of key clinical and operational processes;

* Development and application of Six Sigma techniques to support hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives.

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
