Responsibilities/Duties

Seeking an DevOps engineer to develop and maintain automated systems used for development, testing, and deployment of various software components within an SDLC while adhering to current DevOps principals and methodologies and providing support for a fast-paced software development team.The ideal candidate will have implemented CI/CD solutions in an on-premise or private datacenter environment in a shared platform services environment.Candidates should have experience in deploying and maintaining k8s/EKS clusters.Candidates must have expert knowledge in building, scanning, and deploying microservices using a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.Candidates ideally would understand frameworks such as Maven, Spring Boot, and Flask.Candidates must have AWS cloud & automation experience and be proficient in IAC tools such as Terraform and Packer to deploy and maintain large scale cloud resources.Candidates will be expected to support business functionality as well as deliver the underlying infrastructure required to run and deploy those solutions.The DevOps Engineer must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be adaptive to the changing needs of the department and the organization.The DevOps Engineer must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.

Required Qualifications

Possess a minimum of ten years of professional experiencing in DevOps, Networking, or Systems Engineering.Possess a minimum of four years of professional experience deploying and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure in medium to large enterprise leveraging robust infrastructure as code.Possess a minimum of three years of experience designing and implementing security countermeasures to maintain system compliance with DISA STIGs or similar U.S. Government security compliance regime.Possess a minimum of two years of experience configuring, tuning, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with included containerized deployments.Strong knowledge of concepts, methodologies, and best practices - especially as they pertain to mitigating development risks, estimating tasks, coding standards and source control procedures.Expert level skills with:RHEL LinuxKubernetes/ContainerizationJenkins/Groovy pipelinesHelm
