This role is responsible for building projects from ideas into tangible, implementable solutions. This includes driving the completion of the business case, solution blueprint and conceptual design and engaging resources from other organizations as necessary to deliver the project. This includes but is not restricted to listening to and developing a deep understanding of what the enterprise is pursuing, translating it into strategic positioning and successfully delivering projects aligning to the strategic roadmap.

**Reports to:** Sr Manager, IT Strategy & Delivery

**Location:** Etna, OH or Remote

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop strong, well-documented business cases including construction of business benefits and project cost estimates that facilitate downstream IT execution.

* Provide ongoing solution design expertise to project. May have multiple complex business cases in flight at one time.

* Interact closely and consistently with the Program Management Office and with ALL the build and run application services groups. Effectively communicate solution vision and objectives to Run/Build teams and leadership.

* Build key business relationships and act as a trusted business advisor for assigned business case and project development.

* Manage one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.

* Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.

* Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.

* Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring daily work efforts, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality, or timeline issues appropriately.

* Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.

* Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.

* Identify and pursue innovative ideas to optimize business practices.

* Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field required; and strong Information Technology experience.

* Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.

* Demonstrated successful experience in relationship and project management, project planning & estimation, and requirements gathering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Retail industry experience a plus
