Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team of experts to assist with building state of the art data platforms for the Department of Defense's premier data analytics platform.

Responsibilities

The full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile Scrum and Increment development, JavaScript, Web Stacks, Libraries, and Frameworks that use front end technologies you ll build high performing applications that are customer facing UI and backend API services. You ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret6+ years of experience as a software developer in professional environments3+ years of experience with software development of web applications3+ years of experience with supporting, maintaining, and documenting software functionalityExperience with React, Node.JS, and SQLBachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience with IT in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience with software programming in JavaScript scripting language3+ years of experience with programming data entry and complex display applications using React3+ years of experience with programming applications to run in a Web environment comprised of Docker Node containers3+ years of experience with SQL and writing SQL queries, especially creating complex data retrieval queries and transactional data updates3+ years of experience with task scoping for the execution of each taskExperience with JavaScript, Node.js, React, Sequelize, CSS and HTMLExperience with Node.JS programming at scale or Cloud and GUI design and developmentExperience with PostgreSQLExperience with identifying and leveraging open-source software to meet client needs where solutions already existExperience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLabExperience with APIs, especially REST or RPC architectural stylesExperience with secure coding practices, including Static Code Analysis, Container library analysis, or STIGsExperience with working on DoD programsAbility to understand front-end user requirementsPossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsMS in Computer Science or other STEM area
