The Swift Group

is looking for a

Data Scientist

to gather requirements and advise on AWS infrastructure design, development, and deployment of Cloud resources.

Key Responsibilities:Design, test and implement log aggregation in support of Cloud and AWS systemsDesign, test, and implement search and visualization infrastructure in support of AWS systemsWork with vendors to develop and deploy Cloud based solutions to the learning environment in AWSAct as a liaison between the Customer and Vendor Contacts to troubleshoot AWS when deploying new resourcesRecommend new technologies for use in the cloud environment (AWS)Communicate IT requirements between management and technical entitiesRequired Skills

10+ years of data science experience, and solid educational training in data scienceExperience in risk management and ability to identify project risks and facilitate the development and implementation of mitigation strategiesExperience implementing and integrating AWS solutionsExperience in gathering requirements from vendor contacts and customersExperience using Linux in the AWS environmentExperience with scripting and web programming technologies required to support web based learning systems, such as PHP, PERL, Java, Jscript or PowerShellExperience deploying third party software productsExperience with Software Configuration Management (SCCM)Experience working with desktop and network hardwareBA/BS Degree in Data Science or other relevant degrees (5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance requiredDesired Skills
