Your day-to-day work will include: Aeyon is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the Department of the Navy s (DON) migration of all active non-classified legacy General Ledger (GL) systems to the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) SAP system. Specifically, team members would bring previous skills and experiences while learning new skills and training to align with the needs of the migrating commands for ultimate transition success. Support could align to workstreams to support Finance, Logistics & Procurement, Workforce Management, and skillsets such as Financial Management, Training, Testing, User Interface, Data Mapping, Business Process Reengineering, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)/Project Schedule Management, Risk Management, Data Management, and other pre/post-migration support. Supported commands could include the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS), Chief of Naval Installations Command (CNIC), Military Sealift Command (MSC), Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) Fleet Forces Command (FFC), and Naval Reserve Forces Command (RESFOR).Additional activities to be performed could include implementing business solutions in support of transformation initiatives, including audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) and/or relevant Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees. Familiarity with DON processes and procedures preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to apply Tech. Expertise & Skills to Implement Bus. Solutions: directed to exercise core skills on Projects or may direct Small Teams.Support transformation initiatives, including data consolidation for pre-Navy ERP migration activities.Support IT system audit readiness experience with Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFR) and Corrective Actions Plans (CAP)Implementing data and system Internal Controls, documentation, and standardizationFamiliar with FISCAM and RMF implementation and sustainmentFamiliar with DoD financial execution/accounting processes and financial and business platforms/systems such as WAWF, PIEE, SPS, DAASC, DTS, and SYNCADA.Familiarity with or ability to perform abnormal condition transaction analysis in areas such as: Unmatched Transactions (UMT), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO), Abnormal Accounting Payable (AAP), Abnormal Accounts Receivable (AAR), Dormant Unliquidated Obligations, reconciliation of contract payments.Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) or DON commands, work experience, or supporting Vendors/Agencies would be a plus. Familiarity with DON (USMC or Navy) Financial Management (GML) and GL Systems, system migration, transition, sustainment, or helpdesk activities, and Audit/FIAR is a plus. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3 Years progressive, relevant experience. An additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for the minimum education requirement.
