What You Will Do

The candidate will focus on full-stack design, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry-standard tools and design patterns.Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projectsDisplays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issuesDisplays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutionsParticipate in the development of new and maintenance of customer s custom applicationsProvide top-level technical services to include, but are not limited to, agile development, system engineering, and software developmentActively contribute to mission capabilities development and deployment to address emerging requirementsPerform in all three areas of development, integration and production deploymentImplement the best practices of Agile and DevSecOps to deliver quality products predictably and consistently.Conduct technical research on software development tasks including automation prototyping and tool developmentWork with product management to translate requirements into technical design and provide estimatesDefine and implement unit and integration testsDevelop high-quality, shippable code in short incrementsWork closely with engineering and QA to manage and improve the development pipeline

What You Will Need

Bachelor s Degree. Degree can be substituted with 4 additional years of professional work experience.2-15 years of IT experienceExpert in enterprise software design, implementation, and deploymentExtensive working experience with JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Node.js, and modern JavaScript libraries, API development (GraphQL/RESTful), messaging (kafka, AWS kinesis or others), serverless application development using AWS Lambda, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services (Lambda, S3, Dynamo, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift and several others)Experience applying best practices to source code management in GithubAbility to develop functional web and mobile based applications and experience developing cloud native solutions according to industry best practicesExperience with systems design and architectureExperience in Agile software developmentExperience with CI/CD and microservices architectureUS Citizenship/Green Card Holder required and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.

The annual salary range for this position is $68,900.00-$103,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
