Job Summary:
Datastub, a leading provider of finance and accounting solutions, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our US office. In this vital role, you'll oversee our accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and promptness in our financial transactions.
What youll be doing:
Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, billing, and scheduling.
Conduct credit assessments for new clients and set up appropriate credit terms.
Actively manage receivables by contacting clients through various communication channels for payment follow-ups.
Address overdue accounts and rectify billing inconsistencies.
Monitor customer accounts for any discrepancies, including non-payments and delays.
Handle customer inquiries, providing invoice copies when requested.
Assist in distributing statements to clients via mail and email.
Reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date and precise financial records.
Collaborate with internal departments to handle client queries and concerns efficiently.
Maintain current customer data for precise invoicing.
Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review.
Implement and uphold accounts receivable policies and procedures.
Work with clients to set up effective payment arrangements.
Keep abreast of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in initiatives to continuously improve our accounts receivable processes.
What youll bring:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven track record in accounts receivable or similar financial roles.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A detail-oriented mind set with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
