This contract engagement is remote but, in the field. Candidates must be local as this will require frequent trips to work sites on train platforms, stations, and retail/commercial Metro Properties).Candidates must be local to either

DC metro (DC proper, Prince Georges/Montgomery County MD, or Northern VA.This position requires knowledge and experience working with business applications supporting financial operations, managing project costs, developing earned value monthly project reports, issuing vendor invoices, daily internal and external cost tracking, and monthly reconciliations of all external communication costs.Responsibilities:Develop and manage project budgets for all technology projects.Develop Earned Value reports for each project.Daily cost tracking and controlsDevelop Pro-forma invoices for all cost-reimbursable projects.Develop monthly financial summary reports for all projects.Performing invoice reconciliations and approval of all telecommunication invoicesInterfacing with internal accounting departments to ensure proper budgeting and accounting codes are current and updated to date.Develop processes to obtain timely project cost information from accounting systems.Skills/Requirements:7 years of experience developing and manage project budgets for all technology projects7 years of experience developing pro-forma invoices for all cost reimbursable projects and monthly Financial Summary reports7 years of experience interfacing with internal accounting departments to ensure proper budgets are used, accounting codes are current and update to date7 years of experience developing processes to obtain timely project cost information from accounting systems7 years of experience strong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization7 years of experience proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications7 years of experience IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Office 365/10, Microsoft Exchange, Windows10 Enterprise, Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, Citrix, SharePoint, Remotely Anywhere, Dam7 years of experience conducting research for mobile device equipment, accessories, and airtime services. Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems with mobile devices.7 years of experience configuring, testing, and supporting mobile devices (air cards, cell phones, smartphones, tablets) Test iOS (iPhone Operating System) and Android releasesAdditional Qualifications:Recent verifiable experience working on Transit industry budget and cost control applications,knowledge of Verizon services and products, and familiarity with Enterprise Carrier billingsystems are a plusMinimum 5 years of experience working on telephony systems.Knowledge of networking and telephony technologiesKnowledge of Financial concepts and BudgetingBudget and cost trackingExperience using budget preparation and control systemsExceptional public speaking and presentation skillsStrong client skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization.Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications.Demonstrated ability to produce the required deliverables.Physical Demands:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
