to join our team! This individual would work collaboratively with the agency s client service, creative, media, and digital departments on large-scale, multifaceted national programs. This opportunity is for a passionate communications professional with a minimum of 2 years of communications-related experience. Candidates must reside in the DC metro area; however, the position is primarily remote.About YouYou re an excellent communicator who has experience managing projects independently and the ability to juggle multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously. You have strong writing and project management skills and, ideally, have worked in an agency setting. You are a self-starter and resourceful problem solver with a strong desire and ability to contribute to Stratacomm's growth. You enjoy a fast-paced work environment, are attentive to detail, and have a passion for taking on new challenges and delivering results for clients. You ve gotten your feet wet in the industry and are hungry to learn and grow at an integrated communications agency.ResponsibilitiesSupport client service team in developing and executing large integrated campaigns for two contracts within the U.S. Department of Transportation, including:- Timeline development and management- Status meeting coordination and notetaking- Content reviews and development- Client and partner agency relationship-buildingDraft written communications materials such as talking points, fact sheets, blog posts, news releases, media advisories, agendas, and email correspondence.Build outreach lists; research reporters, influencers or other stakeholders; draft outreach materials, conduct outreach and track coverage.Work with client service team members to develop creative briefs and/or other strategy documents and coordinate with in-house departments and partner agencies to develop campaign materials such as infographics, social media graphics, digital videos, ads, and websites.Assist with event and conference planning, which may include coordinating with vendors, identifying speaking opportunities, developing presentations, coordinating supporting materials development, providing on-site staffing and developing wrap-up reports.Participate in internal and client-facing meetings and organize client and account service inputs and share feedback.Demonstrate ability to understand and distill complex topics into compelling messages for target audiences, as well as have the ability to extract insights and summarize data.Maintain regular contact with clients and build understanding and knowledge of clients business.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience (internship experience is applicable).Highly organized team player with effective time management and prioritization skills.High attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple tasks.Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.Superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Strong writing skills with knowledge of proper grammar and AP-style writing.Experience with stakeholder engagement and partnership management is a plus, as well as experience with integrated campaigns.Basic knowledge of popular project management tools is a plus (e.g., Asana) and digital analytics tools (e.g., Talkwalker).Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skillsProficiency in all Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Stratacomm is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all persons and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, height, weight, or veteran status in employment.
