a hands-on QA Supervisor working with AAA multi-platform games. It combines expert testing ability with the management skills required to oversee and guide large teams.Responsibilities

Day to day supervision of QA testersResponsible for resource management and prioritization, overall test scheduling for projects and for driving each projects daily deliverables to successAbility to use QA knowledge develop and review testing plans and manage daily testing needs of multiple projects.Interact directly with Development and Production teams to collect feedback on test schedules and assist in clearing roadblocks.Help track and manage the direction of all test teams and all projects in testDetailed tracking and timely reporting of work progress and deliverables to Production, Development and QA ManagementDiagnose and communicate issues at a high-quality level (i.e., complex bug troubleshooting and scheduling conflicts) to upper managementTakes ownership of the project database; ensuring continuous high quality on bug entry, timely response on requests for more information; and is able to speak knowledgeably towards major issues within the gameSupervise and vet the creation of test cases and test suites that cover all game functionalityOffer guidance to Leads on processing and dealing with development changes to efficiently testOffer guidance to all testers in the troubleshooting of bugs of a complex nature when neededProvide thoughtful and professional feedback on tester and Lead performance as well as gameplay related issuesAssist in the creation and implementation of training materials for team membersCoach and mentor testers on approved QA processesQualifications

3 5 years AAA Games test experience across multiple platforms as a QA LeadProven background in Game Test process and proceduresExtensive Hands-on experience with Game Certification processes and testing through MS, Sony, Nintendo as well as Mobile requirementsStrong analytical skills in reviewing all design-related information and interpreting areas of risk in testingExcellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skillsFlexibility to changing prioritiesSelf-motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervisionAdvanced skill set for using Windows applications and Hardware as well as a demonstrated skillset with consolesKnowledge and experience with tools for scheduling and tracking deliverablesProficient with MS OfficePreferred Skills

QA Supervisor - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 - $110,000 per year.

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases, discretionary bonus and/or equity awards. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
