Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Lead SDET to support one of our largest clients in the Fintech industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

7+ years of SDET experience, with a strong understanding of software development in Java and Typescript.

Hands-on experience with AWS, including proficiency in Load balancer, ECS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, SQS, and SNS

Deep knowledge of Rest API's and experience in back-end testing using tools like Rest Assured or Gatling.

Proficiency in testing UI components using one or more of the following technologies: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Rest Assured.

1-2 years of leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams comprising 4 to 8 members.

Desired Skills:

AWS certification or a strong commitment to obtaining one in the near future.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies and test plans.

Lead and mentor a team of SDET professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Actively participate in the recruitment process by identifying and hiring top talent to expand the SDET team.

Drive automation efforts for testing, continuously improving test coverage and efficiency.

Contribute to the development of automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with development and DevOps teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into testing strategies when appropriate.

Serve as a subject matter expert in test strategy and application architecture, providing insights to optimize testing processes.

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
