Job Description
The ServiceNow Developer will support a ServiceNow HRSD project for one of our Intelligence Community clients. They will be responsible for assisting in the development and modernization of more than 40 ServiceNow HRSD processes (Awards, Time Off Requests, Verification of Employment Letter Generation, Student Loan Repayment, and more) to meet our client's evolving needs. Additionally, they will provide support for the legacy versions of these processes during the modernization effort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with senior developers and other team members to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Customize, configure, and develop ServiceNow applications and modules. This includes utilizing Javascript to create scripts both on the front end user experience and back end processes. Additionally, utilize APIs and webservers to interact with outside systems and integrate the tool.
  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide support and maintenance of existing ServiceNow processes.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance processes.
Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • 6-8 years of related Software Development experience
  • Familiarity with Agile.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of ServiceNow development.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Certified ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Prior ServiceNow experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) concepts.
