Job Title - Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the success of our IT business by managing the delivery of projects. In this high-visibility position, you will lead product, application, and project activities within the assigned program.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:
  • Lead and support the vision and strategy for, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT development and architecture to deliver capabilities and projects according to the program roadmap.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the platform, guiding internal stakeholders on its optimal utilization.
  • Develop best practices for content development, analytics reviews, and metrics tracking.
  • Assess dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans for all projects within the program.
Acquisition & Deployment:
  • Foster effective working relationships with project teams, peers, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, handling escalations, contracts, and ensuring delivery success.
  • Support teams in assessing the impact of new functionality on existing business processes and system functionality.
  • Drive continuous improvement and a culture of innovation within the program.
Operational Management:
  • Provide visibility and reporting of projects within the program to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure resolution of requests and issues submitted.
  • Devise an implementation roadmap, identifying applications to onboard onto and related priorities.
  • Support stakeholders as they engage with the platform, providing tips and best practices.
  • Drive the strategic direction of the Platform.
Incidental Functions:
  • Fulfill affirmative action obligations and ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity policy.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.
Position Requirements:

Formal Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) or at least 12 years of experience in Information Technology or Business.
  • PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) preferred.
  • Builder and Project Lead certifications preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • 8+ years of IT and/or business experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT or business analysis, project management, and/or program management.
  • 2+ years of proven ability to successfully lead projects preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Well-versed in project management concepts, methodologies, and tools.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Effective leadership under pressure, guiding a program team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Strong decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of tailoring the communication approach based on the situation.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity.
Physical Activities/Capabilities/Work Environment:
  • Sit for extended periods; walk and stand occasionally.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and handle other components.
  • Lift and transport moderately heavy objects occasionally.
  • Work environment involves everyday risks typical of offices, meeting rooms, and training rooms.
  • 20% travel may be required.
  • Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
