Join us for a virtual tour! SummaryWe are seeking an experienced business systems analyst to join our growing organization. In this position, you will analyze existing systems for improvement, recommend new system processes, and keep detailed reports of all structural and process changes. You must follow best practices and align with company goals while creating better procedures and solutions to increase performance and revenue.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluate company systems and current processesCompile objectives for improving and streamlining company proceduresEvaluate company performance, information, and formatsAnalyze company software and hardware uses and needsTrack company systems progress and report on progressDevelop procedures to improve existing systemsResearch and compare hardware and software needs to make recommendations for the companyAdvise on best practicesPlan and implement supportive business solutionsDocument and create reports on systems effectivenessRecommend new system developmentsAnalyze relevant dataTranslate data for presentation to other team membersEnhance company business performanceCreate a guide to system updatesPresent key information to IT teams for improvementsEstimate and establish costs of upgrades and improvementsAddress issues of existing systemsCompile, write, and distribute system process specificationsAbide by company policiesIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be requiredOther duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor s degree in business, computer science, or IT related field; master in business or related field preferredTwo years of previous experience in business systems analystExperience in translating user need into Agile methods.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel);Able to analyze system records and translate dataExcellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of managementAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlySelf-motivated and self-directedWorking EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job on Wagstaff premises, work is performed primarily in an adequately lit, well-ventilated, climate-controlled general office environment. Close computer work is regularly required. The work usually involves minimal physical exertion. The noise level in the general office environment is usually moderate.This job may require occasional or more frequent interaction with employees on the manufacturing shop floor. While on the shop floor, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risks of moving equipment and parts, and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment. Because of this environment and associated risks, coordination with shop floor managers/employees may be necessary before entering the shop floor, and use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required on the shop floor. The noise level on the shop floor is often loud.Employment at Wagstaff is dependent on successfully passing a company-paid drug screening and background check upon hire.
