Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to:Compile information to develop weekly, monthly and annual customer Cyber Snapshot. Report metrics on cases and incidents that have happened over the period as well as items of interest on cybersecurity that would be of interest to senior managementVerify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on threat to information networksAssess security performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measuresParticipate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirementsDevelop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produce high quality papers, presentations, recommendations and findings for senior intelligence and operations officialsProvide identification and classification of system network vulnerabilities providing mitigation and remediation recommendationsAnalyze policies and procedures against federal laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gapsDevelop strategies to comply with privacy and risk management requirements. Prepare threat analysis reportsCreate indications of compromise for new and existing malwareParticipate in cyber defense working groups, forums and IPTs to provide cyber defense guidanceJob Requirements

Required Qualifications:12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.Current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityFavorably adjudicated Counter Intelligence PolygraphDoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAMExperience with customer s Cybersecurity ProcessesExperience in requirements development and analysisExperience in security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software operations systems and applicable solutions in both standalone and LAN/WAN configurations. Experience with security features and or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NIST, DISA (STIGs) and USCYBERCOMExperience with networks and systems security administration, operating systems, security configuration and account management best practiceSolid understanding of network intrusion detection methods and techniquesStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent oral and written communications skillsDesired Qualifications:Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervisionBachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced IA certification (i.e. CISSP or CASP)Experience briefing senior customer personnelAbility to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environmentFamiliarity with the RMF processExperience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security DomainExperience with SIEM technology and applications such as ArcSight or SplunkExperience with FireEye or experience with an equivalent endpoint agent application.Experience responding to detected security incidentsExperience implementing RMF processes and NIST 800-53 technical controls as well as developing maintaining associated certifications and accreditation documentationFamiliarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Please see standard Work, Physical and Mental Requirements for all Quantech roles.Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.Mental Demands:
