As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be the expert on a specific technology/solutions vertical within our offering for CSP (Cloud Solution Providers). You are the primary resource for customer technical interactions and questions. You will be required to:Present to customers as the expert in your area at all levels in the customer hierarchy from technician to CIO/CISO, conversing at a C-level on industry trends and emerging changes to the cloud

cyber security landscape that every customer must be aware of and planning to deal withDirect discussions of competitive nature in the marketplace and position the best alternativeLead demonstrations of product from beginning to end that showcase our unique valueIn person and remote interactions with CSP, sales teams and customers must be equally persuasiveThe Cloud Security Architect role is a technical role that must deliver on a quota. Cloud Security Architect s are measured by their expertise and ability to lead customers to a successful outcome. Close interaction with product management to ensure that we continue to out-innovate our competition is imperative.Your ImpactWork with product management, technical marketing and R&D to create requirements and product features for our large customers and provide feedback from customersProvide design consultation and best practice guidance for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the 'pre-sales' process for strategic opportunities - The Cloud Security Architect will take ownership of advanced 'proof of concept' testing in strategic accounts either at the customer site, CSP or Palo Alto Networks lab facilitiesPresent product update/roadmaps and enhancement training to other System Engineer and CSP Engineers in the region or theaterDeliver demos for strategic prospects and current accounts in all facets of Palo Alto Networks virtual, SaaS offerings and integration in existing data center environmentsTrain colleagues, CSP Engineers and partnersInstall POC's and give customer presentationsAbility to cover additional regions when resources are required for the teamTravel up to 25% of the timeQualifications

Your ExperienceExperience working with Cloud Service Providers (AWS preferred) and demonstrating all capabilities such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS productsExperience of architecture in a professional services role or similarPublic cloud knowledge and understanding of go to market approachLeading public sector webinars and technical enablement sessionsSecurity experience from companies in the enterprise networking space is preferredIt is preferred that you have experience using Automation Tools: Deployment Manager templates, Terraform, YAML, Python, Cloudformation and LambdaIt is preferred that you have experience in basic L3/L4 Networking (L2 Switching architectures including IP routing including BGP, L4/L7 Load balancing)You have to be an effective high-level communicator with good product demonstration skillsAdditional Information

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary

(for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $178,300/yr to $245,200/yr.
