**Position Objective:**

The District Sales Manager promotes and sells AAF Flander's products and services in accordance with established sales policies and procedures and develops and maintains relationships with existing customers.

**Key Accountabilities:**

Develop relationships by demonstrating company services/products to customers through personal meetings, seminars and surveys.

Inform customers of supply and price and supply trends and assists in inventory control and product availability.

Secure and renew orders and perform other selling activities. Responsible for growing sales and profitability of assigned areas.

Call on existing or potential customers to establish and maintain relationships.

Stay informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers.

Maintain records and submit timely reports on all phases of activities, included but not limited to call reports, as required by management.

Stay informed of changes in assigned territory that might affect product sales. Gather and share information regarding competitive product development total customer satisfaction as measured by established criteria.

Maintain a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service.

Moderate travel may be required (30%).

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

**Position Requirements:**

- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Business or related field preferred;

- 1-2 years' prior selling experience;

- Understanding and experience with high value-added product selling, pricing, negotiating and channel management;

- Ability to communicate and sell both products and value concepts at all organizational levels;

- Ability to synthesize various input and ideas into relevant and clear strategies and secure buy-in from diverse teams in order to implement them;

- Possess a natural way of influencing, both internally and externally;

- Must have experience in providing strategic direction for the development of targeting marketing and promotional campaigns designed to achieve specific growth objectives;

- Team player with proven success in building strong national and remote sales teams;

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

- SAP and/or CRM preferred.
