This position is looking for a junior electrical engineer in the Manassas, VA area that is able to work onsite. This is a full-time 6-month contract to hire position that is looking to pay between $35-$45/hr. This position requires US citizenship and someone who is fully vaccinated against COVID. This role is looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has 0-5 years of experience.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications.Assist with the preparation and review of reports and proposalsChecks system and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.Improve electrical products manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.Have experience in schematic entry using OrCAD Capture Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methodsPrepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Requirements and QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong understanding of electrical machines and power systems theoryExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong computer skills. Power systems analysis software will be considered an assetAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
