Description

As FedChoice continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Vice President of Compliance and Risk to join our leadership team.

What you'll be doing...

FedChoice is looking for a Vice President of Compliance and Risk who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Credit Union's compliance, risk management, and business continuity planning functions. Identifies, assesses, and mitigates compliance risks that could impact the Credit Union's operations, finances, reputation, and stakeholders. Ensures Credit Union's long-term sustainability and success by fostering a risk-aware culture and implementing robust compliance management practices.

Key areas of focus...

Oversee the Compliance, Enterprise Risk, and Risk Mitigation Strategies functions.

Manage Business Continuity and Regulatory Preparedness.

Oversee the security and fraud functions.

Manage vendor management and business continuity.

Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.

Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

You should have:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field in the financial services industry.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including NCUA guidelines and other relevant regulatory requirements Credit Union or financial institution experience.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements, including BSA and Fair Lending.

Preferred:

Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Risk Compliance Manager (CRCM).

Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, compliance programs, and frameworks.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.

Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.

Salary Description

$118,000 - $157,000 annually
