DFC seeks an experienced Data Analyst to support a project supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The project will support VA's Enterprise Mail Management Program. This position focuses on providing support to design, develop, and deliver modern analytics tools, statistical analysis and data analytic services, and data management services.

What The Role Requires

Collect, analyze, manage, and report on data from various sources and systems,Experience with MS Access and Power BI,Develop and implement a wide range of advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve operational effectiveness,Support development of data reports, including dashboards, data visualizations,Review and present results to senior management and other end-users,Lead data mining efforts on internal government and external public sources,Provide viable reference material for users by writing and maintaining user documentation,Maintain client confidence and protect operations by maintaining information confidentiality,Be responsible for understanding large data sets and leading and managing advance data techniques in support of emerging initiatives and projects.

What You Need To Be Successful

At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or data architecture.Aptitude to adapt best practices to develop customized solutions for unique client needs.Capacity to work well in team-based environment as well as independently.Ability to lead and facilitate client meetings, conference calls, and capture accurate meeting notes.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously.Strong analytical skills, presentation development and writing skills.Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence.Strong client presence.Experience working with VA is strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, science, operational research, or a related field is requiredAbility to obtain a US government security clearance, if needed, is required.Applicants must have the legal right to work in the US for any employer; sponsorship is not available for this position.Preference will be given to qualified Veteran candidates.

This opportunity is available in the Washington DC metro area (flexible work arrangement), Charlotte NC (fulltime remote), Columbia SC (fulltime remote), and Minneapolis MN (fulltime remote).
