The Kenific Group, Inc. (KGI) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC area. KGI was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. KGI has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). In the past 10 years we have grown our service offerings to include infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. Position Overview KGI is looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to assist our Business Development team in their efforts to grow the company. We need someone who understands federal government contracting, and can join our time to help analyze a number of business intelligence tools to track opportunity status and timelines. Responsibilities

Partner with the Business Development team executives to understand the market and opportunity priorities and develop a dashboard and status reports to support these prioritiesWork collaboratively across each market supported by KGI to track opportunities and information pertaining to each customer segmentResponsible for the development a maintenance of market focused dashboards and opportunities trackerRequirements

Must demonstrate knowledge of Federal IT marketplaceMust demonstrate strong command of data sources such as USA Spend.gov, FPDS, etc. and other tools such as GovWin, Bloomberg, etc. for research and analysis purposesMust show understanding or have experience in all types of government contracts (firm-fixed price, T&M, cost-plus, etc.) and demonstrate experience across all BD or Capture strategies (major re-competes, incumbent capture, seta-side, full and open, sole source, etc.)Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and highly effective interpersonal skills with leaders at all levels both internal and external, industry and governmentPast experience that demonstrates the ability to contribute to fast-paced business leadership teams would be a plusClearance Requirements This role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
