The day-to-day: As a Records Management Specialist you will exhibit a thorough understanding of the DOD records management program, records management instructions, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures. You'll develop briefings and deliver records management briefings to groups to inform Command personal on record management policies and procedures. You'll also initiate action to accomplish a variety of analytical and administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the Command's records management program. Description: -Provides operations development technical assistance and supports J38 front office with updating and maintaining administrative and manpower requirements to include Records Management (RM), Knowledge Management (KM), and other Human Resource Management (HRM) functions. -Exhibits a thorough understanding of the DOD records management program, records management instructions, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures. -Develops briefings and delivers records management briefings to groups to inform Command personal on record management policies and procedures. -Initiates action to accomplish a variety of analytical and administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the Command's records management program. Basic Qualifications (REQUIRED): * TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
* Minimum 10 years of experience as a Records Management Specialist, Minimum of High School Diploma. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills. Preferred Qualifications (desired not required): * Workflow Management System (WMS) experience.
* SharePoint experience.
* Joint Military Awards/Evaluation Process Experience.
* Thorough understanding of the DoD records management program, records management instructions, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures.
* Experience developing briefings and delivering records management briefings to groups to inform Command personal on record management policies and procedures.
* Ability to take action to accomplish a variety of analytical and administrative duties involved in the development, implementation, and administration of the Command's records management program.
