Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Project Manager provides leadership and full support to the Field Management team in all aspects of a project. This will include but is not limited to project organization, including creating and maintaining folders, utilizing spreadsheets for tracking purposes and ensuring all logs are maintained and up to date. It is the Project manager job to ensure the procurement of all submittals for all equipment and materials as specified. They must manage, track, and submit all RFI, change orders, submittals, billing, buyouts. Manage the project set up process, maintain the jobs budget, and ensure that the project is on schedule until completion and manage the close out process.

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communication:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Ensure that everyone from the project management team is always cc d so everyone is always in the loop
  • Provide leadership and initiative.
  • Document important phone calls with emails so everyone is in the loop.
  • Maintain a team environment.

Field Supervisor Assistance:

  • Confirm they have the latest plans. If your PM has not uploaded, get with them until it happens. Then print full scale for FM.
  • Ensure they have all approved submittals.
  • Ensure they are all set up with daily reports.
  • Complete a detailed equipment list for the field so they know who we are getting what from and who they need to contact.
  • Manage & distribute ETAs as needed.

Subs:

  • Create an SOV if it has not been provided
  • Maintain the SOV throughout entire project
  • Review Sub billing. Call the FM and confirm if what they are billing is accurate
  • Manage approval process of any extra work invoices.
