Overview

Manager, Community & Volunteer Engagement- the MCVE recruits, trains and manages volunteers, ultimately supporting patients and families facing end of life. The MCVE is active in partnering with other organizations, embracing local events, and is a creative relationship builder.

Location: Aldie, VA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30-5 with occasional weekends

COVID-19 vaccine required to be completed upon start.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director, Community & Volunteer Engagement (DCVE), the Manager, Community & Volunteer Engagement (MCVE) supports the provision of volunteer services to patients and families in compliance with Capital Caring Health s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations, in support of the mission and vision.

Qualifications

Experience:

Must have 1-2 years of administrative experience including program coordination and supervisory experience. Hospice and/or volunteer experience is strongly preferred.

Education:

Must have a Bachelor s Degree in Human Services, Education, Management, or a related field.

Driver's License:

Must have driver's license in good standing and access to a vehicle during working hours.
