Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Engineering & Sciences leadership team as a Section Leader supporting the diverse portfolios of the Networked Information Solutions (NIS) and the Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) Divisions.
The selected candidate will provide both engineering functional leadership and technical project execution leadership. Engineering sections consists of approximately 35 60 engineers organized into multiple teams. Each team is led by a Team Lead (front line manager). The Team Leads and senior individual contributors will report directly to the selected Section Lead. The individuals in this section work across several Baltimore, MD based programs primarily within the NIS and PGS divisions.
The selected candidate will lead a section of highly qualified, diverse individuals in Digital Technology. Digital Technology is responsible for creating complex FPGA, ASIC, System on the Chip, Circuit Card Assembly and Digital Subsystem designs for all electronic systems applications from undersea to outer space.
The selected candidate will also be expected to perform productive (direct charge) work on programs in addition to functional management duties. It is anticipated that given the size of this section, the split between functional and program duties will be approximately 30/70, on average.

This position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain or maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
Salary Range: $172,500.00 - $258,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
