The location for this position is at a high-rise condo in Chevy Chase, MD

Day time hours M- F (Total of 30, approximately half of which can be remote)

Job Summary:

This position is for a Project Manager who will oversee an electrical upgrade primarily for replacing electrical circuit panels inside of each condo unit. This position reports to the condo Chief of Operations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$33 to $35 per hour depending on experience

Free parking provided

Uniforms and cell phone reimbursement provided.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordination of project with condo owners, electrical contractors, building management and administrative team

Oversees electrical contractors in performance of the project. This includes but not limited to ensuring their vehicles are parked in approved locations, utilizing designated paths through the building, utilizing only designated restrooms and break rooms and keeping all of these areas clean and debris free

Ensures contractors perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner

Ensures contractors comply to and support all building policies and procedures including Fire and Life Safety

Supports the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and building

Ensures that when contractors are performing work that condo owners disruptions are minimized

Maintains project logs and records

Completes daily communication of project to management

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

Ensure contractors follows all safety procedures

No preventable building operational downtime

Ensures contractors follow proper installation and testing routines

High degree of condo owner satisfaction during project work

QUALIFICATIONS:

Management experience a must with project management experience a strong plus

Demonstrated knowledge of building systems

History of trades education and training

Electrical experience and knowledge a strong plus

Basic technology skills necessary in regard to computers and smart phone

High School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in English

Must meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting, walking distances, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

Must have reliable transportation
