THE POSITION
The expert is responsible for multimedia Television production support producing and directing television programs, providing production planning, coordinating scene preparation, script writing, and providing equipment utilizationassistance

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for providing technical/creative television production support services to include producing and directing television programs, planning productions, coordinating scene selection, writing scripts, providing voice over services, operating studio cameras/video recording devices/remote cameras/broadcast equipment/tele-prompters
  • Creatively articulate the customer's story/mission thru video and sound production to include selecting microphone equipment and placement, performing studio lighting and set design assignments, performing signal routing tasks utilizing electronic routing equipment, designing/creating/formatting/storing/displaying computer-generated maps, charts, brochures, overlays and highly technical visuals for use in television productions, meetings, live briefings and similar graphic productions
  • Capture and accurately record incoming/outgoing work via government-provided systems and processes to ensure requests are appropriately supported, no work is lost and finished products are produced in an effective and efficient manner
  • Maintain the functionality of equipment, including, but not limited to: conducting routine preventive maintenance and appropriately recording and reporting malfunctions in an expeditious manner
  • Evaluate and recommend the use of software, guidelines, procedures, and development of project plans to enhance products produced and/or efficiency at which work orders are satisfied
  • Interact with both customer and contract leadership relating complex technical issues/solutions in a manner to establish a partnership
  • Improve the customer's operating environment by providing expert support while also maintaining the cybersecurity/IA posture of systems/hardware managed/administered for both JSSC and JSSC's customers' assets
  • Exercise sound judgment, and compliance with all safety and security requirements, policies, and procedures; worksite access protocols and updates, training requirements, required certifications, and other duties/projects as assigned

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • 100% on-site at the Pentagon

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum active Top- Secret Security Clearance, AND;
  • Current DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-Lvl II) Security+CE certification, AND;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Television Production Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline, AND;
  • 8 years of experience as an industry/functional consultant or providing creative/photojournalism support, of which at least 7 years are specialized experience, OR;
  • 13 years IT or related experience and 8+ years of specialized experience can be substituted for NO DEGREE, AND;
  • Experience providing Television Production support across a wide range of video and sound styles/disciplines capturing and appropriately recording individuals and events ensuring mission success in support of DoD
