Our mission is to keep the traveling public safe while providing an enrichingand satisfying work environment for our team members. We are seeking an energetic individual to fill a newly created role in our Client Service team.

This is a full-time position located in our growing Columbus, OH office.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Provide superior service by learning about our customers in order understand their business needs

* Answer inbound calls and emails from customers inquiring about new or current orders

* Navigate internal systems such as JDE Enterprise One / Web / Salesforce to provide service to customers

* Take incoming product orders, verify product specifications and research customer details

* Recommend complimentary products to customers

* Resolve any customer issue competently by demonstrating the ability to openly listen, asking questions to clarify requests, relating empathetically and responding in a professional way

* Efficiently interpret customer, product and shipment information

* Demonstrate strong customer service skills

* Continuously improve personal skill sets by gaining knowledge of internal systems and company practices

* Represent Hill & Smith Inc, in a professional and courteous manner through quality phone conversation and written correspondence

**Key Attributes:**

* Clear, professional and concise communication both written and verbal

* Accurate work including sales order input

* Understanding customer needs through empathy and asking clarifying questions

* Ability to interact with internal resources including sales team, management and executives

**Essential Skills & Experience:**

* Ability to demonstrate empathy with customer needs by understanding and clarifying requests from customers and colleagues

* Strong customer service skills including listening, relating and initiative with a focus on providing customers with the highest quality support; client service experience is a plus

* Superior attention to detail that incorporates cross functional skills to ensure customer needs are fulfilled, including following up on any outstanding issues to a positive resolution

* Able to adapt quickly and prioritize work to provide the best support possible to our customers

* Experience utilizing computers including the use of Word, Excel and other Windows-based programs and ability to learn new programs quickly

* Outstanding organization skills
