What You Will Do

The Project Controller/Finance Analyst will work with Program Management, Contracts and Accounting to establish and track program contractual requirements and monitor the financial progress of each project. The Project Control Analyst will be responsible for managing projects and reviewing project cost, revenue, and billing. Alongside being part of the team, the role of the Project Control/Finance Analyst is to take part in the development and implementation of newly established processes and procedures.

Monitor and control financial data collection and oversight in support of Program and Project Managers. Including:

Serves as the main POC for all project activities related to month end close process, ODC budget and tracking and associated vendor purchase order funding process, and customer billing/invoicing and overall program funding analysis.Investigating and performing issue resolution to minimize risks.Knowledge of General Ledger data and reporting.Track Program contract modifications and prepare contract briefs in support of Deltek Costpoint funding and ensuring briefs adhere to company revenue and billing requirements.Analyze and preparing Funding analysis at task and IPP CLIN level.Within the Business Operations team manage the customer invoicing/Billing process, ensuring timely accurate processing of invoices in compliance with billing processes and procedures, government regulations, and customer guidelines.Identifies, researches, and resolves invoicing issues, analyzes, and reports on Days Sales Outstanding (DSOReviewing Timesheets; labor postings related to billings and accruals and submits monthly accruals.Develop and manage vendor ODC budgets, Purchase orders and funding limitations and schedules in line with project requirements. Track and approve vendor ODC invoicing in Integrify system.Analyzes internal financial information, including profit loss accounts, financial statements, utilizing General Ledger data.Preparing ETC/EAC calculations by analyzing employee, subcontractor and consultant labor vs. project planPreparing Profitability Tracking and Variance analysisDevelop and maintain project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Resource mappingProvide ad hoc support and analysis for Division Management and Corporate FP&AThis individual shall provide support to project teams, report financial and operating data; support development of management reports and project status reports.In depth analytical skills are necessary and an advanced understanding of and experience with Microsoft ExcelUnderstand basic government contract structures.

What You Will Need

Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience working on Government Hybrid Technology projects (FFP/T&M)Possess knowledge and experience in DELTEK Costpoint and COGNOSAdvanced knowledge and practical experience with Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, financial modeling)Experience in budget formulation, tracking and expense analysis.Experience in month end close accounting procedures.Good balance of urgency with long-term sustainabilityAbility to communicate at all levels with maturity and precision both written and verbally, including in external customer-facing situations.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Team player who is also Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Able to adapt quickly in a rapid, changing environment.Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

The annual salary range for this position is $75,800.00-$113,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
