The
Director of Operations
reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for operational oversight of 6-8 restaurants.
Key Responsibilities includes (but not limited to):
Develop and implement strategic operating plans that supports the organization s vision, mission and key strategic initiatives including
Make data-driven decisions to grow revenue and improve restaurant profitability
Design, monitor and improve front and back of house business practices through analysis and collaboration to meet or exceed financial and operational performance targets as well as ensure guest satisfaction
Collaborate with executive leadership to initiate and drive both sales growth and operational efficiencies resulting in improved restaurant profitability
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, codes, standards, guest requirements and industry best practices with particular emphasis on creating a safe environment for both team employees and guests
Develop, lead, and motivate staff and restaurant General Managers in the planning, development and implementation of operational improvement practices and policies
Manage inventory control programs and assure location and count accuracy meets corporate requirements
Promote the company culture and values to create career opportunities and world class teams
Provide leadership that is goal-driven, focused on developing the team s capabilities and modeling how to work collaboratively to deliver powerful results
Be up to date with food and beverage trends and implement best practices
Knowledge, Skills, & Requirement:
B.S. degree or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years of proven multi-unit, full-service restaurant operational experience
Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development and strategic planning
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
Strong collaboration and communication skills; strategic thinking; results driven; business acumen; and financial management
Proven leadership abilities, including ability to think strategically, develop operational strategies and determine long-term impact of decisions on the business
Ability to build culture of accountability and results while balancing team member needs
Strong ability to assess talent and build effective teams
Hands on ability to direct management teams in high-volume environments
Proven success in working with cross-functional leadership
